Q: Why does this blog exist?
A: I’m doing things I’ve been told others are scared to do, and I want to understand every facet of entrepreneurship and that includes teaching and sharing. Cue this blog. I write here to improve myself and if others can benefit from that pursuit I’m more than happy to give value for the value I get. Theres no take without some form of give, so I choose to model my give in a way thats beneficial to the giver and the taker. Or in this case the blogger (me) and the blog reader (you).
Q: Why should I read this blog?
A: I likely don’t know you individually so I’ll do my best to provide a solid widely applicable answer. You’re probably here because you’re looking for the answer to a question thats bugging you. A question like “why do I feel so apathetic about my life, even though I have or am working towards all the things my parents told me I’d need for a happy life?” or “How do I start a business online thats not a massive time sink and is profitable?”. These are questions I can’t answer for you, however I can help you discover your own answer. Some variation of those two questions, purpose and material needs are probably why you’re here and the answers I help you find are why you’ll stay. But like all worthwhile things that takes time, give me the time and I’ll give you the answers.
Q: What happens if I subscribe to your mailing list?
A: For a while, probably nothing. I don’t have anything I want to email at the moment, and since I post every few days I won’t bother emailing you every time I do because my content is best consumed here at Grasping Triumph and not on some brutal RSS reader or email client. However I’m willing to adapt if you want something different, because I want you to have the best experience possible. Tell me what that is. It takes 5 seconds and I read every one.
Q: Where will my money go if I donate to Grasping Triumph?
A: I’m determined to run Grasping Triumph solely off the money I can generate through it. As I’m not about to let some random company capitalize off my blogs success through PPC advertising, this leaves me with a few options. I do use affiliate links sometimes but sparsely and only for sites I believe in and actively use myself. Then there’s digital content but I’m determined to make the most valuable work I produce freely available to all. That leaves me with one outlet. Donations. I’m not the kind of guy who accepts charity, in this case however I just choose not to dictate to you what price you need to pay to access my content. If you feel its worth $0 then you won’t donate. Simple. However for the people who feel its worth something, they will. I leave the choice with you.
