Those bucket list style goals we never expect to accomplish but that we nonetheless dream about accomplishing. I want this post to serve as both a how to and an inspiration for those who still think they’ll never be able to accomplish those goals.
It all started right after I was fired from a job selling office supplies business to business. I hated the job from the day I started and thus after only a week with the company, I’d already been late a few times and had avoided going to every single team building event. After arriving late again I was pulled into the presidents office. After giving me a withering look of contempt mixed with a touch of disappointment he said…
I’ve finally made the plunge, I’ve started my first online business! This is a business I’ve been wanting to have a go at for a very long time. Ever since I called up a friend of mine two summers ago and said…
Josh on the left
“Josh, I’ve got this idea for a supplement that could change both of our lives” and from that Think Better was born. The name came a bit later, at the time we fondly nicknamed it “Nootropic Project” and created a secret Facebook group where we sent each other messages with new discoveries, exciting ideas and theoretical formulas. But as with all things done haphazardly the minute we lost our focus from school and other commitments the project fell by the wayside and we mostly forgot about it. Ever since I’ve kept this idea in my pocket to be attempted once I have the capital, drive, and time to give it my all. Recently however, I’ve realized that time will probably never come. I’m an ambitious guy and I’ve always got something on the go, and on the off chance I don’t I’ll always have school, a job, girlfriends and various other obligations to attend to. So I’ve decided that even though I’m working four nights a week, am still in the process of building this blog, have school and exams coming up and am leaving mid May to spend my summer with the military I may as well get started now.
“The internet could be a very positive step towards education, organization and participation in a meaningful society” -Noam Chomsky
You should be working online.
The internet has finally connected humanity as a neural network does the body. We’re linked, and nows the time to capitalize on the opportunity this global village presents. If you manufacture products, the whole world can be your store, at a fraction of the overhead. If you distribute information theres never been an easier way, no longer do you need to slowly print out individual books to be transported across the globe. Now at the click of a button you can access almost any of the worlds information immediately. Education used to be limited to large stuffy institutions which charged thousands of dollars to allow you to gradually pry valuable information from its professors. Now for nothing or next to nothing – you can access a self driven education on almost anything. This unparalleled access to an international community is a strong opportunity for anyone looking to make money. Using secure payment methods like PayPal and credit cards people now feel safe spending their money online.
